On Nantes' Feydeau Island, Robin's offers creative and refined cuisine that gives sweet and savoury blends pride of place.

A former dessert bar, Robin's new focus is on the savoury side but it retains a knack for sweetness. In a setting with Scandinavian overtones – clear wood and steel sublimated by natural light coming through large picture windows – the restaurant reveals a cuisine that changes according to the seasons and market product availability, giving extra care to local excellence. There, the chef plays with unusual herbs, for some aniseed or seaweed slight flavours.
In spite of the thematic shift, Robin's does not forget its roots and various sweet flavours find their way into your plate: among the various dishes you can enjoy a Mediterranean vegetables crumble à la Provençale, a tomato-basil sorbet, potato waffles with smoked salmon, curly endives and mustardy cream. The roasted melon in honey with almond cookies, lemon-mint sorbet and arugula pesto is another fine choice.
The restaurant is also opened on Sunday for brunch. If the weather permits, do not hesitate and settle in on the terrace: a perfect way to enjoy Feydeau neighbourhood's greenery.
