Oriel, French elegance in Los Angeles

Oriel, a delightful wine bar on Alameda Street, is a hit in Los Angeles' Chinatown. Its French touch is popular with foodies!

Dustin Lancaster strikes again. After creating the famous Covell and Augustine bars, the restaurateur has set up shop near Chinatown. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the area, Oriel showcases French cuisine and wines. You will enter a space that resembles an industrial loft with peach and purple tones, giving the place undeniable charm.

Under the green plants hanging from the ceiling, settle into your chair at a small round table, lit by the whiteness of the sun that pierces through the large picture windows. Opt for a Frisée aux lardons salad, snails with parsley, garlic and butter, or exquisite artichokes in rouille sauce. Then choose your wine by the glass from among the valuable selection offered by the chef: white, red, sparkling or rosé? At Oriel's, anything goes!
