Tucked away under the immense Voûtes de la Major, Les Halles de la Major faces the sea in a majestic setting in the Joliette district. The unique concept makes for a convivial and engaging place, dedicated to the finest in of Provençal food.

Stepping into Les Halles de la Major is like entering a shrine to fine food. Everywhere you look, a blend of industrial and natural materials make the place exceptionally cosy. The stalls are islands, with large tables and wooden and leather stools, different coloured metal chairs, copper mobiles on the ceilings, cotton and linen hangings on the walls…

After you have finished your shopping, it is time to sit and eat. Eleven artisans – an oyster man, butcher, baker, greengrocer, Italian deli, cheese and wine sellers, and more besides – offer tapas, grilled fish, seafood platters, Italian delicacies, and other delicious dishes, all delivered by smiling and friendly servers.
