Do not hesitate to push open the door of this bright and welcoming Art Deco bistro, which opened for the first time in the late 19thcentury. Today, Yann Ghazal manages this famous Toulouse landmark, open seven days a week. The interior is a whirl of panelling, stucco mouldings, mosaics, and other Baroque follies that give the restaurant the dimensions of an old brasserie, but with a true bistro style.
In the kitchen, the classics revisited by the chef will not disappoint: a ginger-spiced oyster, bass and salmon tartare, bream tartare, beef and marrow-stuffed potatoes, guinea fowl supreme with fresh cheese, garlic and herbs, and Joël Robuchon's signature potato purée.. To celebrate the end of a delicious meal, go for the strawberries in vanilla oil, whipped fresh cream and rhubarb sorbet, or the raspberry, pistachio and orange blossom tart.
A menu drawn between the old and the new, and a succession of delights and pleasures. A cheerful experience, full of light.
