Bangkok's 18th International Festival of Dance and Music

With shows from around the world, Bangkok's International Festival of Dance and Music turns the Thai capital into one of the major artistic spots in Asia.

For its 18th edition, Bangkok's International Festival of Dance and Music favours eclecticism. This emblematic event of the Thai cultural calendar was once a small festival, but it now imports Broadway shows to the city. It unabashedly blends tradition and modernity with high quality productions from all over the world.

In 2016, more than a thousand artists will give 20 performances spread onto five weeks. The program consists of Swan Lake as performed by the Stanislavsky Ballet from Moscow, The Israel Camerata Orchestra, China National Acrobatic Troupe, Carmina Burana by the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, but also Canadian or Belgian jazz and Modern Dance… You are sure to find something suited to your taste!
