Lagoon and an exceptional dinner in Tahiti
After taking a dip in the sand-bottomed pool, you walk through a magnificent tropical garden accompanied by the soothing tones of the ukulele and lulled by the mild trade winds. In your sights is a majestic mass of green in the middle of the lagoon, overlooked by high volcanic peaks sculpted by erosion. You will spend Christmas at the Manava Suite Resort Tahiti, a luxury hotel which offers a magical view of the sister island of Mo'orea. In the city centre of the capital Papeete, there is a large and lively Christmas market. The children will have a field day with the face painting stands, the Tahitian shows and the sweets being handed out. On your return to your hotel, take a dip in the immense infinity pool, while the setting sun sets the lagoon on fire.
To celebrate Christmas Eve, treat yourself to a glass of champagne – in moderation of course – facing the South Pacific, while a gourmet dinner is being prepared in the Vaitohi restaurant. Elegant Polynesian dishes are brought out, while Christmas songs play in the background.
