| 1. | What is an e-ticket? | ||
| The e-ticket is an electronic ticket. As opposed to the traditional paper ticket you will just specify a personal identifier (credit card, frequent flyer card or passport number) during the booking process and then be able to check in by only presenting this identifier and your passport. With electronic ticketing, you save time at check-in and enjoy carefree travel without looking for your ticket! Lean more information about our e-ticket |
| 2. | Can I purchase an e-ticket for someone else? | ||
|
Due to increased credit card fraud problems, Air France does not recommend third party payments (the credit card holder not being the passenger or part of the group traveling together). However, third party payment is possible in our Booking system. Please note that we may contact the credit card holder to confirm the payment. |
| 3. | With no paper ticket, what do I present at the airport? | ||
| To check in, just present the personal identifier you were asked to specify during the booking process (credit card, frequent flyer card or passport number) and your passport. |
| 4. | What are my options when travelling on a paper ticket? | ||
| You can only travel on a paper ticket to destinations non-eligible for e-ticketing and if your departure is 5 days or more from the moment that you have confirmed your reservation. Otherwise, please contact our Reservations Center. |
| 5. | When will I receive my paper ticket in the mail? | ||
| Please allow 5 to 7 days for your paper ticket to arrive via regular mail. |
